Born in Nashville, Tennessee, a city surrounded by music, Blake McClure had to look elsewhere to fulfill his fantasy of making feature films. At an early age he found himself enthralled with "making of" clips found on VHS movies in the early Nineties. Although, in those days they were few and far between, it was enough to entice Blake into deciding film school was the right move for him.

Fast forward a few years and a degree from Watkins Film School, where he attended in Nashville, Blake has found his way in the world of cinematography. He has lensed countless music videos for such artists as: Kelly Clarkson, 3 Doors Down, Shinedown, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, and Rascal Flatts, among countless others.

His narrative work includes three feature films: When the World's On Fire, Super Zeroes, & After and countless shorts, including several for Funny or Die. He has two television documentaries for ESPN and various concert related films for Kenny Chesney, including the opening titles shot in 3D for his Summer in 3D concert film released by Sony Pictures.

Blake is based in Nashville & Los Angeles, and is local to New York.
